Nokia sues Apple

Nokia is suing apple over 10 patents violated. According to Nokia, Apple has been using the ideas since the first generation iPhone and Nokia are asking for sales numbers so they can account for damages. Some analysts expect somewhere near 204-408 million dollars asked for. Apple is going to try to invalidate the patents or settle this out of court. If neither can be done, the court case could last 2-3 years. Nokia is asking to stop selling to iPhone until this is worked out but it is not in spite of the fact they want it of the market. They just believe Apple should pay where money is due.

  1. This is quite interesting, I wonder what will happen. Is apple really going to take the IPhone off the market? I doubt it, and in my opinion apple doesn't really owe anything to Nokia. I mean, I am not an expert on the subject but I feel that all phones learn from each other and it's not fair to ask apple for money, they were the ones to come up with the new, innovative phone.
